A new crafts Quarter in the City of London that looks to decentralise the trade, training, production, inhabitation and storing associated with the creation of exquisite craft goods.

Looking to medieval working topologies as sustainable decentralised autonomous systems of production to create a contemporary position for industrial activity. Investigating the relationship between the Master and the Apprentice, Guild systems and the contemporary translation of these ideas, new methods for the consumption and fabrication of craft goods are created.

The implementation of Human Cloud working and Artificial Intelligence are considered as a tool to widen current available job roles making non-democratic exquisite artisanal craft jobs more widely available and through computer aided manufacture broaden the experience of exquisite goods.

Weaving as the earliest Guild system is used as a catalyst for a series of formal investigations that use technical and craft parameters to define a new intricate topology that shifts in scale between the infrastructural, structural and non-structural. Material gradients are used as design triggers to create spaces that calibrate to Architectural criteria.
